Ferrari Driving

For and car enthusiasts, driving a Ferrari has to be one of the ultimate experiences. Because not all of us can afford to buy our own, there are now many companies offering driving experiences. These take place at various racetracks up and down the country including some of the best and most famous courses in the world.

Generally, you can expect a driving day package to include a certain amount of training provided by a qualified instructor, followed by a safety briefing and an initial group instruction. After that there will frequently be a period of track familiarisation, building up to the actual Ferrari driving experience. These experiences can last between 2-4 hours. There may also be the opportunity of choosing a more individualised one-on-one session at some venues, check out their individual websites for more information.

In order to take part in a driving day experience, there are several criteria that you need to meet. You should be over 17 years old. Between the ages of 17 and 18, a parent or guardian may have to sign an indemnity form. A driver must also be between 5.0” (152cms) and 6.04 (193cms) in height and hold a full UK or European driving licence for a minimum of 2, or sometimes 3, years. Participants should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb into the vehicles. These requirements may vary according to the venue or the company you booked through. These are only guidelines on what to expect so please make sure you check before you book.
